Site History
In 2005, one of our founders became frustrated at the absence of a good, centralized Web resource for Mother's Day planning (given the considerable effort it took her to pull together a large family gathering for Mom that year).
Not being an experienced Web entrepreneur herself, she sought out the help of friends who were experts in Web publishing and entrepreneurship ... and MothersDayCentral.com was born.
Today, our staff includes moms, daughters, sons, husbands and a grandmother!
The site is a work in progress, and frankly, we expect it to remain that way. Even now, six years after our modest launch, we've still got a lot of ideas in the planning stage. At least it gives us a way to occupy our spare time!
Site Offerings
Some of our most popular site sections include Mother's Day flowers and cards, poems, crafts, recipes, gift ideas (including Mother's Day baskets and personalized gifts), a Mother's Day planning checklist, and a comprehensive section on the history of Mother's Day.
